Hand made using traditional techniques & locally sourced New Zealand grown hardwoods to produce a quality product to last a lifetime, while making the smallest footprint as possible. The stools are made to dimensions, however they are hand carved from a natural product with variations in grain & colour, so no two stools are alike.
These stools currently available are made from timber sourced from within Canterbury, the seat is carved from Elm sourced from Hororata, that was brought down by a Nor wester. The legs are turned from White Ash, that has been sourced from Hanging rock. These timbers are a result of early plantings in New Zealand.
W 420mm x D 355mm x H 650mm. Finished with naturally derived oil & wax finishes.
As I hand make these stools, & they are made to order, bespoke dimensions & custom adjustments can be made. I have a range of different timbers available, or you may have your own timber you wish to use. Please get in touch to discuss your specific requirements & place your order.
