Hand made using traditional techniques & locally sourced New Zealand grown hardwoods to produce a quality product to last a lifetime, while making the smallest footprint as possible.
This is my version of a Captain Chair. The pictured example is a combination of White Ash legs, Elm seat, White Oak spindles & a single piece of Black Walnut steam bent to form the arm bow. The timber finish is naturally derived oil & wax finishes.
This chair was placed in the top 100 of the Australian Wood reviews, Maker of the Year 2022 & also won the people's choice award in the category of tables, chairs & desks.

As I hand make these chairs, & they are made to order, bespoke dimensions & custom adjustments can be made. I have a range of different timbers available, including Elm, White Ash & Black Walnut, or you may have your own timber you wish to use.
